I was unable to locate a Vista driver for my Texas Instruments FlashMedia Controller so I installed the XP driver I had. I was surprised that I didn't get a warning about it being an unsigned driver. It works ok, so I guess all is well.

Hello All, If you are having trouble downloading pre-RC1 here are some things that you can do to get it to download. 1. Clear all cookies, temporary internet files 2. Run disk cleanup to clear all temporary folders 3. Try downloading without the download manager (it goes slower..I know..but at least you will have pre-RC1) 4. I have spent 15 hrs downloading build 5536 I let it go overnight. In the morning the download manager was at 100% but the file was not in the location I specified to save it at, I searched my entire pc for the file, It was nowhere to be found is there anyway to find it It was downloaded so it must be there somewhere ! Hello, My current system contains an Adaptec U320 SCSI (ASC-29320A) RAID 0 Configuration. I have not found any support for this interface card or any U320 SCSI controller cards (I would be willing to switch). After installing 5536 it would refuse the installation of: - Kaspersky (v6) - BitDefender (v8) - AntiVir (v7) - Avast (v?, but pretty recent)

Got a few problems post install which I never had with Beta2. Note, this is an install on a clean D partition. I downloaded (from Microsoft) build 5536 last night (at 3mb's down. NICE). Anyhow, it downloaded as a *.rar file which I thought was odd since my 5472 build was just an iso. When I used winrar to open the file, the ONLY thing it had in it was a 14kb text file. I'm somewhat miffed that I spent 3 hrs downloading a 2.58gb file, open it and only find a 14kb text file. Does anyone know...
