Vista Raid Drivers by
Grant Thomson
Have an Asus mobo with Silicon and Nvidia Raid drives attached. Unable to
properly install Vista because of driver issues. Vista goes in, can see the
attached drives but won't show what's on them! Frustrating in the extreme. I
have searched high and low for vista drivers to no avail. Anyone knwo fo
drivers or a workaround please?

Sidewinder Dual Strike Game Controller by
David
I have installed the software for the controller. The software sees the Dual
Strike but when I goto select properties to configure the controller I am
greeted with the following message:
There was an internal error....
The system then closes the Rundll32 file.
I have to say that its very disappointing that Microsoft's own product does
not work correctly on its state of the art OS.

Simplex
I have 3 SATA hard drives on my system Vista will only see the one it's
installed on (C:). Drives D: and E: are only under my devices not in
Computer details. This is an RC1 version Built 5600. I can not see any of
the files or access the drives from Vista. Workes fine if I start my XP Pro
on drive D:.

Moving the Master Boot Record by
intclass
My friend installed Vista on a seperate HDD in his computer, and now he has
two installations - the XP on and the Vista one. He wants to remove the XP
HDD - but can't because the boot records are on that disk.
He asked me how to put the boot information onto the newer HDD (the Vista
one) but I don't know the answer.
Hoping someone could shed some light here! Thanks.

AD1986A not working on P5NSLI by
Fredrik
I've been using Vista Buisness for about a week and can't get the 3,5mm sound
jacks to work. The SPDIF seams to work great but that doesn't help me since I
haven't got that kind of speakers. The AD1986A codec doesn't even show up in
the device manager, otherwise I would have been able to use nVidias beta
drivers that require manual installation =(
I know people have asked similar questions...

Memorex 4GB travelmate incompatible with ReadyBoost by
Lakesidezx
Just in case anyone else feels like taking advantage of the sale at staples
for the Memorex 4GB travelmate usb flash drive to use for ReadyBoost. Don't
bother, it isn't compatible.
It's still a good price at $54.00 if you have a need for a 4GB flash drive
but according to vista it's too slow to use for readyboost unfortunately.
