Hello: In Win XP, the Texas PCM290x (USB audio codec) was correctly recognized as sound card, but in Vista it's recognized as USB microphone. So when you try to record something you get the same audio in both channels (you can unplug the right channel and will keep recording in stereo with the same signal in both channels). I recently upgraded from XP Pro SP2 to Vista Business 32-bit (the one that comes with Technet). I am using a Dell D810. My audio drivers work fine when the laptop is out of the docking station, but I have no audio at all when in the docking station. Dell says this is a Microsoft problem, and a fix will have to come from MS. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
