I'm having a problem. I'm running Vista x64 Ultimate. I'm getting hundreds of Event ID 11 errors in my Event Viewer. The source is atapi. Here is what it states: The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort2. Now, there is another twist to this. I ONLY get this error after waking up from either standby or hibernate. I do not get this error on first boot or subsequent reboot.

I bought a laptop HP Pavilion DV9428, AMD Turion X2 2.2GHz, 2 Gb RAM, 2 x Toshiba 120Gb HD (device manager says SCSI !) I would like to mirror my main HD to the 2nd one in the event of a HD failure. Hello, I have a video camera that Vista does not recognize when I plug it into my FireWitre port. This is the second FireWire card I have tried but no effect. My friend has an XP SP2, and it worked there, so my cable and my cam are OK. Any ideas?
