i,ve been playing about on my satellite pro. got board at 3a.m yesterday. since then when i restart my laptop and logged in , when the start- up screen comes on there,s a cmd exe box that appears. inside the box the dialog goes off and on to quickly to be read, need help to get rid of this please, totally annoying and also how did it get there in the first place. cheers. -- djchina74

I get the following status in devmgmt: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I run Vista RC2, an upgrade made from RC1.

You see, i prefer safe mode with networking. i like it, because i can get on the internet faster, without having to start the extensive list of other programs i have running on my laptop. unfortunately the sound is not a main driver. i need to know how to turn it on. thank you. ~Darren G.
