Would someone please explain to me what 'J' and 'K' drives are when using a jump drive. How does it work? 'J' drive appears only when the drive is plugged in and sometimes I get a 'disc drive' which is called 'K' drive right along with it. Thanks. -- Stoney E. Whitaker

I started getting printer errors with my laptop, and am about to reinstall Epson's drivers & other software. I unistalled the printer, made sure it was removed from Control Panel etc, and removed all the Epson files I could find (even though that'll mean also reinstalling my seperate scanner, also an Epson!). Every 10 seconds I get a "ker-plunk ker-plunk" sound that I've been able to track down to a USB hub. I've tried power-cycling the USB hub, and restarted Windows, and I still get the sound. The thing is this, i took out from a pc a HDD barracuda 7200.7, which had installed linux, then i connected it to my laptop via USB, my laptop is running on vista and i do not know why it does not show the HDD i went into administration tools and did everything, try to initialize it, and nothing happened, tried to put a different letter to the drive and it just do not let me do anything at all, i...
