GHD Purple Hair Straightener Gift Set by Amily
Hairstyling products Styling products aside from shampoo and conditioner are many and varied. Leave-in conditioner, conditioning treatments, mousse, gels, lotions, waxes, creams, serums, oils, and sprays are used to change the texture or shape of the hair, or to hold it in place in a certain style. Applied properly, most styling products will not damage the hair apart from drying it out; most...

HP Compaq NX7000 display goes crazy after install by Rich
I installed Vista RC1 on a HP Compaq NX7000 laptop with a 1.8GHz Intel Centrino Processor, 512MB of RAM, and 64MB Radeon 9200 video. The chipset is Intel 852/855. When it got to the part during setup where it asks to create an icon, user name, and password the screen suddenly went crazy like it was out of sync. I did manage to get through the rest of setup even though the display had...

Vista 64-bit 4GB and ATI X1950 by SuperSenshi100
I don't know why this happens, I've exhausted Microsoft and ATi trying to find a reason. When I use 4 GB of RAM in Vista 64-bit and install ANY Catalyst driver for my X1950GT PCIe video card, I get random grey bars on my screen using Aero (basic is just fine though), and when I use any kind of 3D application it works for a few seconds and then freezes entirely. If I remove one stick of RAM...

Any chance my monitor will work with Vista? by pdsnickles
I have a Dell 1901FP Flat Panel Color Monitor. I just bought a new HP computer using Vista Premium 64bit but am debating whether or not to keep it now that I see so many issues with 64bit Vista. I went to the Driver Download page at Dell for my monitor and it has a driver listed for download for XP but none for Vista. I guess that means they have no driver for Vista so it won't work, right? So...

Power Supply by Vista_32bit
I have a dell insp. 531s with a 250W power supply. Dell support says upgrading to anything over (like 400W) would potentially fry my components, is this true? Is it safe to upgrade to a higher wattage? -- Vista_32bit

There are new drivers at ATI - AMD especially for Vista: http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html It will stabilise the videocard problems for most of you I guess! I installed the latest ATI driver (Catalyst 7.1), I have a ATI Radeon Mobilty card and it fixed also some other minor video problems (first uninstall all old ATI drivers of course)

USB - Cannot Install Mouse - Please help! by Chase_AV
Ok, I'm at a loss. I tried the SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1 from an admin command prompt and opened device manager from there, did not work. I had to re-install my motherboard, and since my USB ports aren't at teh same place they were, my mouse is considered installed on one of those missing ports. Now, when I plug my mouse in on any other port, when I get to installing the driver,...

Nforce 430, onboard sound card and video card issues by Bob354
I think I have solved this. On my motherboard (Nforce 4 Ultra), in my BIOS, under the Power-ACPI settings, the APIC support setting was set to disabled. Upon setting it to enabled, and unfortunately doing a re-install (didn't work until I did that, but your mileage may vary) everything worked perfectly. Apparently Vista requires APIC to be enabled. Why it was set to disabled, is beyond...

weird RAM by Aaponline
hi all! I have a problem with my ram memory. I have vista ultimate sp1 with 4gb ram. When i look at my computer properties it shows i have 4,00gb ram (windows experience = 4,5 is that normal for this amount?). But task manager shows 1534 mb ram... it also shows i have 1gb occupied, which is 66% according to task manager. Is this a hardware problem or an OS problem? I don't hope windows is...

TV Tuner by Todd Marks
Can anyone give me some good, affordable TV Tuners that work well w/ Vista Media Center? I would like to get one w/ a PCI interface, but I also do have a PCI Express x1 slot available. I guess USB wouldn't be out of the question either as long as the picture quality is decent. Thanks in advance, Todd
