The upgrade advisor says my pc is fine for update but even after two fresh installs of the downloaded vista home premium from circuit city. The machine randomly locks up I'll be working and the cursor will stop and not move and I have to hard reboot. I had contacted Kworld with just this question and here's their answer: Yes, unfortunately to use Tv Tuners with Media Center, they need to be mpeg hardware encoders. This tv tuner is mpeg software encoder and the only way to watch TV is to use the program it comes with. -- WarpedOne

This is weird and very annoying... For some reason if I put a DVD (+R) in my drive that is finalized and works perfectly in other PC's, Vista pops up a dialog prompting to Format the drive!!! I cannot see any data at all from Vista. Curiously if I run up VMWare Player, it CAN see the drive and data perfectly.

For some reason this doesn't appear as a Removable Drive, but instead as a real drive. So you cannot eject it safely. All USB Hard Drives should be removable.
