My microphone is experiencing very low recording volumes in Windows Vista (Ultimate). I already have all the levels maxed. Ramping up microphone boost fixes it (+30.0 decibels), but it introduces a lot of noticeable static. I am currently using Realtek's High Definition audio drivers, but Microsoft's drivers are no better. Thanks.

Prior to installing Windows Vista, I was able to drag (camera) pictures from the desktop or document onto a new document (In this case, Newsletter). Doesn't work now. Hello, I just have a few questions about Media Center in Vista. I'm running Home Premium. First: I subscribe to Comcast HD, and want to get HD into MC. Can I just plug a coax cable directly into an ATSC TV tuner and receive HDTV? Second: How many tuners can MC handle? My sound was working perfectly and then I inserted the Upgrade Your Windows Vista Experience disk. A red X appeared next to the speaker icon on my thing tray. My CD/DVD s in the Optiarc DVD RW AD-5170A refuses to refresh in Windows Explorer. Listing the drive in Command Window works perfect.
