I got a dell inspiron 531 came with 2 gigs of memory running vista 64 bit. I installed 2 gigs total of 4 gigs got b.s.o.d. upon startup so I startup in safe mode there it shows 4 gigs tried again to boot in normal desktop same bsod. I removed 1 stick leaving 3 gigs now boots and runs fine what's up with vista and 4 gigs of ram ? -- andy6432668

I tried to burn a disc in itunes and itunes said software or driver is missing. I'm getting an error code of 31?. I've tried system restore, uninstalling itunes all useless. Title says it all. Vista insists on install a new (and VERY faulty) ATI serial controller driver. There is none thing showing up in Device Manager indicating a Unkown device, and the device driver appears to work, but EVERY time I reboot, it wants to install. I stalled Windows Vista and now my touch pad dosn't work. I have looked everyware on my system but can't find any way of turning it on. Whenever I search for a solution for this problem Windows points me to solutions to touch screens. Of cause this isn't what i am looking for.

I tried to set my default printer however each time i set it and have the user log off it revert back to the windows xps writter. If i delete this it will defaul to the next printer.
