I installed an additional 1gig of RAM into my ASUS notebook, and while either stick will operate just fine by themselves, only one is recognized if they are both installed. Strangely, the newly installed BIOS recognizes the new RAM, but Vista doesn't. Any suggestions?

I have a HP notebook. The keyboard worked just fine under Windows XP but after having installed Vista, I cannot type text properly anymore. Without any obvious reason, the text cursor jumps halfway a line to another part of the page and when I don't pay attention, my text resembles a spam letter when I (think I) have finished.

I calibrated my monitor under Windows XP. After installing Vista I would like to use the same profile again. But the color profile support in Vista is extensive but not really transparant. I can see the profile when I use the color management gear but no matter what I click or select, it doesn't seem to make any difference.

So far the Windows Vista experience since Beta 2 has been great. But we are now on RC1 and we still do not have working drivers for Realtek AC97. There are beta drivers available from Realtek but they give me the blue screen of death everytime I try to install. Its very frustrating. I know Microsoft isnt Realtek, but can they light a fire under something to get a move on this? Thanks!

Some how my all my .exe files were reset to load by srcds which i think is a gaming program. Yesterday I tried to run error checking on my Iomega external HDD. As expected, Windows asked me to schedule a disc check, which I did. However, when I rebooted my laptop the scheduled disc check never happened. Is there likely to be a simple explanation and solution for this? TIA Andy

Just installed RC1 ong a HP Dc7600 with Realtek HD audio. My problem is that I can't get any sound. When I look in device manager, all i find under Sound is "High Definition Sound". On the control panel Sound it says that sound is working, but I can not get any sound out. /A.
