I have a 1280x1024 monitor. Every time I start Windows Vista, my screen resolution automatically resets itself to 640x480. I have no idea why, but I have to change it back every time i start Windows. My laptop will connect to a LAN device, but windows rejects the internet return information. Hence I cannot connect to the internet, despite the LAN Device saying its 'connected'. The same LAN works fine with a laptop loaded with Windows XP. None of the diagnostics fix the issue.
