I can't seem to get the new Nvidia forveware to work. I read in the manuel, and it seems my 'old' product won't be supported anymore... Does that mean I'm just f****d and have to buy a new one to operate Vista??? Please HELP!

Normally... if you choose a low-consuming power-saving profile... you have the option to switch off the optical drive (to save battery). HOWEVER! In XP... when you switched by to a non-saving power-profile, the optical drive would switch back on immediately. In Vista, once the optical drive has been put to sleep... there's no waking it up unless i reboot. Help?!

3Com 3c905b-tx NIC not working under Vista RC1. Using dialup, I go to Windows Update. It recommends updating the driver for that card.
