Hi, I have a quesiton which has been bugging me since we rolled out Vista to our desktops almost a years ago.... Whenever I have to go to a users PC to install a new device (USB Storage Key for example) I usually have to spend about 10 minutes there as the Elevated Privileges dialoge box will pop up several times, as each component of the device tries to install itself... Is there any way...

Does anyone know what NTativrv01 is and how do I get it to install, I'm running 5744. Thanks

Vista seems unable do "see" it's own drivers ... Whatever device i'm trying to connect Vista is inable to locate drivers even if I know that the drivers are included in vista install (like HP 1210 printer). On clean install Vista recognizes it ian installs but later it's not ... Does any body know some sollution?

Has anybody seen a device driver for a TSST DVD RW drive? It's in my Dell Inspiron. All I get is the Error 38 about the drivers. That means I can't even use the DVD rom drive. This would be the last hurtle for me to stay on Vista RC1. :) Thanks, Nick

My LITE-ON DVD SHD-16P1S ATA Device failed to install the driver software. I was told by Sony to unistall the driver and then re-boot my computer as it is a plug-and-play device. I have an emachine running Vista. When installing some new software I believe the device driver for the DVD+/-R/W/RAM/CD-R/W was corrupted. Windows no longer recognizes the driver (E). I have been having this issue for a couple months now... When I plug in my ipaq 2490 to my laptop using usb, the device centre freezes at the startup screen and won't go any further.
