i tried to add 1gb more to my 2gb of ram, it just either went to the logo where the bar was going continually scrolling across the bottom of the screen, i then went to the repair screen, and all it said was that it was caused by the installation of new hardware/software, so to my fustration i took out the 1 gb more after i had restarted again, it works, could it be the ram or something vista...

Everything was working fine earlier today when I cam upstairs and was going to burn a CD when I went into My Computer and both my CD-RW and DVD-R drives were not there. I went into the device manager and it shows both drives but they say that their drivers failed to load. Need help, tried searching for new drivers but Windows says that it has good drivers.

Problem is found to be in a graphics card driver, and a (temporary) solution was to revert to an old driver. Is it possible to have this issue fixed/checked for in next version of the driver before its released in windows update?
