How do I set the "powersetting" in RC2 to let my AMD 4800+ X2 make use of Cool'n'quiet? In WindowsXP it should be set at "Minimal Power Management", but there is no such setting in Vista (or at least I can't find it). After installling the OS and some basic software along with office 2007, when i see the the space used, it show around 18.9 gb of space consumed. Why is it like that? my dvd-rom and cd-rw won't register when discs are inserted.I tried fixing this by going to device manager in XP(my OS), and cd-rom drives is not an option and doesn't show up there or in My Computer. I was wondering how to fix this.

I have several external HDs connected to my system, all via USB. I was copying information from one HD to another when I connected a USB thumb drive.
