When i first got my new computer with windows Vista I plugged my printer in a Bam! we are printing. Now , 2 months later when I go to print nothing happens and when I check "find printer" it says " the active directory domain services are currently unavailable." I have tried reinstalling, rebooting, setting up a new usb port to no avail. What the heck has happened?

I understand that vista uses memory to store needed data for common programs but when you want to play games with only 1g of memory it doesnt work so well just wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of common program data to decrease memory usage ie to free up more ram? i have vista ultimate Thanks
