I put my PC to sleep (hibernate) and when I turn it back on it goes through the "Now resuming..." screen and then it shows a black screen with a "_" flashing in the top left-hand corner. When I try to boot Vista with my Memorex D33013 DVD Burner, it just freezes. Yet, when I unplug the drive it works just fine. I've tried booting in safe mode but it still freezes. I have a GeForce 7900GT with 256Mb, Vista RC1 detects my Videocard as having 520Mb, of which it says 248Mb are Dedicated Video Memory and the rest (271Mb) are System Shared Memory. Can this Shared Memory be disabled so the Videocard only reports the onboard real memory?
