Promise Ultra100TX2 by
Carlo Razzeto
Hey there, I have a question about the Promise Ultra100TX2 IDE controller
card. This is the only device I own (and require) that thus far there seems
to be no driver available for. Does any one know where a driver might be
found? I've heard that Windows XP64 supported it with a built in driver
(makes me supprised microsoft ignored it for vista!), but I'm not sure where
on the XP64 disk to...

SoundBlaster Audigy by
Carlo Razzeto
For a while there Creative was doing pretty good releasing driver updates
for the audigy serives on Windows Vista (32/64). I just went to their
website and a driver search pulled up no results for the audigy all of the
sudden, when they previously at least had the (usless) october build for a
late beta 2 (or was it RC1?). At any rate, any one hear that Creative was
pulling support for the...

Vista takes 10 mins to boot up! by
Carlos
Hi:
Turn your computer off and unplug it from the wall outlet.
Open your PC case and unplug the offeding CD drive from the motherboard, as
well as its power connection.
Turn your computer on now and see if that solves it.

Joe:
Donwload and install the freeware reporting utility CPU-Z
(http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php).
See what does it say about your memory in the SPD tab.

Carlos
I visited yesterday CreativeLabs (i.e. Soundblaster) web site to check driver
availability for my WebCam Instant camera.
In former visits driver availability was "TBA" (to be announced).
Now they say that there will be no development.
Funny thing is that I have that camera working flawlessly in Vista x64 rc2
with the available XP x64 drivers.
How do they not realze that it is possible to use...

Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000 by
Carlos Pereira
Hi all!
I use a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000 on a notebook
with Windows Vista.
I'm having trouble with the wheel: it doesn't scroll properly in some
applications like iTunes and Picasa 2. Also, on Google Earth I can't
zoom in and out with the wheel. On other applications it works fine.
If I unplug it and use other mice everything works properly.

Microsoft Sidewinder Strategic Commander by
Carlos Sosa Albert
Hi guys,
I own this (¿prehistoric?) device and I reaaally like it.
But recently I upgraded my computer and move on to Vista SP1 (32 bits) for
several reasons.
But I find that the (¡prehistoric!) software won't work.
It won't even install, the setup.exe just stays there without doing nothing.
And I have no way to configure the device.

Microsoft Mouse BT5000 can not install by
Carlos[_6_]
Hi all,
I've been trying to install a MS bluetooth mouse 5000 to the
Vista Ultimate partition in a Macbook pro with no success.
The irony is that is works flawlessly on the MacOSX side
but not under Vista...
Sometimes it can be detected, and supposedly able to add it
to the list, but when I open the bluetooth wizard again, the device
is not there..
