I'm using Vista Basic on my laptop and when I'm trying to publish my video to my computer it won't finish. The last time I tried to publish the video it got up to 75% and then stopped but then the time continued to go up. There was another problem I was having, in the same video the song skipped on a part when the clip I used was muted and the song muted on that part as well.

Lately, I've been unable to burn audio CDs using Media Player. I create playlist, insert blank CD-R, press "burn". After the CD is spit out, I get nothing - won't play in the computer or my CD player. I've also been unable to burn picture CDs. I have Nikon Picture Project. I bought a new factory installed vista and cannot import video from my 4 year old JVC digital camcorder. It recognizes it, firewire connected but will not import either in a Pinnacle program or Windows movie maker. I thought if I used a DVD-RW I could add to it as I accumulated more pics. It asked me to either put in a new disc or to rewrite over the old stuff. I thought it would make mark where I left off.
