I just bought a new computer with Vista x64 pre-installed. Windows Explorer displays proper thumbnails for .wmv and .mpg videos files; however, only a generic thumbnail is displayed for all .AVI files. I installed the CCCP codec pack, but it did not solve the problem. I went to the Divx web site, and it says that their download is for x86 only.

Everytime I try to import pictures lately I get an error message saying "access denied" when I hit the import button. Any ideas on why this is happening? It's my computer, I am pretty sure I haven't changed any settings and this is only happening recently. Thanks for any help -- arenda13

When I insert a CD in the Rip Tab, nothing happens. I can play music from the CD on the Media Player and the CD name appears in the Rip Tab, but it dosen't rip. No album/artist info appears and when I right click on it to open it nothing happens either. All the screen says is to insert a CD, which I already have done. Vista Ultimate. When I'm in my pictures folder in windows explorer, or any other folder with pictures, clicking the slideshow button on my toolbar doesn't do anything apart from making the screen flicker. This occurs whether I've selected any pictures or not. Slideshows work from Windows Media Player. Any ideas?
