Just started using Windows Media Center. Is there a way in the guide I can search by category/subcategory? I couldn't seem to figure out how to search by like Sports, Football. I'm sure theres gotta be a way....

I installed Windows Vista Ultimate yesterday on my new machine and now when I try to preview one of the sample videos in Photo Gallery, I'll only see a glimpse of the video, then the program pops up a window saying "Windos Photo Gallery stopped working" and then shut itself down or sometime just restart. What can I do to fix this? How can I reinstall one of the windows components?

Hi, Recently, my Windows media Center has completely disappeared from my computer. It's not in the start menu, or any of my folders. I can't even find it when I search. The only trace of it I've found was a few .exe files in the system 32 folder. The only way I can get windows media center to work is to open up all those files at once. By the way, I have Windows Vista Home Premium.

I bought an Acer Notebook with Vista preloaded, which also means WMP 11 is the default for media. I have a preference for Media Player Classic which is pretty much WMP 6 with extra features.
