Is it possible to adjust the JPEG compression level windows photo gallery uses when "fixed" photos are saved? When I fix a photo to get rid of red eye, the size on disk is reduced from about 3Mb down to about 1 Mb. I would really like to use this program instead of buying a 3rd party app, but I don't want to lose image quality when making fixes. Thanks Dale

After loading pix and short video clips from Panasonic camera SD card to computer running Vista, it assigns photos for viewing in .jpeg format, which is fine, but the video clips are assigned a .mov file type and cannot be viewed. Does anyone know how to change the file type so I can watch the video clips since the .mov extension is not supported in WPG?

I was reviewing my video when the system froze for some seconds. After that, although my project was still shows in the timeline, the preview screen was blank (I should say black). I have closed and opened the project but still same result. I also rewinded and played the time line but nothing. Can anyone suggest what I can do next? Thanks -- JF

Everytime I try to view a picture, a message pops up in Photo Gallery: Photo Gallery can't open this picture or video. This file format is not supported, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Gallery. This is a new laptop and Windows was preinstalled...I can't find any updates and all of my pictures are in the JPEG format...how can I fix this

I am trying to help my son make a stop action movie from photos he shot on our digital camera. I was able to downlaod the photos and import them into Movie Maker. The story board looks correct. The problem is when I try to make the movie, I cannot control the frames per second, and I end p with about 5 seconds per frame. Could someone please advise me how to adjust the fps? Thanks

Hello! jpg pictures have a yellow tint in the default viewer in Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Small previews in Windows Explorer do not have that tint. Best regards, Dima

I would like to be able to find picture files using my tagged names rather than going through the folders when outside of photo gallery (ppt, mail, etc). It seems odd that this does not work?
