I have a problem when I play DVDs on Windows Vista Pre-RC1 and RC1 (I haven't tried on Beta 2) : I have no sound or there are crackings instead of the correct sound when I play my DVDs on Media Player or Media Center. How do I get Vista to display thumbnails of photo images? Ap present everywhere in the computer all thumbnails show an icon of the opening program rather than an actual thumbnail. This makes finding the right photo among thousands an absolute nightmare. Changing the opening program just swaps all the thumbnails to the nw icon.

I was so having the same problem with that build, and not much helped it. Mine would pixilate slow down and crash the system. The New build Pre RC fixed it. for me. I have not seen that pixilation yet, but still get a lot of cpu on some videos. Just hold on a little bit longer, It is worth the wait. iam
