I've just bought a new pc with 8 gig of ram and 32bit vista(i swear i ordered 64 bit but hey),can i upgrade to 64 bit or do i need a whole new operating system.Also my pc says that i only have 1700mb of ram is this right?

Hi, I have vista home premium, and wndows movie maker has stopped working, it opens but when I click on add files, it turns all cloudy and DEP shuts it down, can I repair this? as well, I can not uninstall a couple of programs that are not orking either, like itunes, I keep getting the message to get aahold of the system admin.
