For some reason my Vista home premium - Gateway computer operating system environment is continuing to degrade. *Issues* Will not log off cleanly, the computer will freeze even if all applications have been closed before logging off. In the folder "indexed file locations" there are a lot of old emails I thought were deleted from my system. When I try to delete one of them, there is no option for delete in the menu. How can I get rid of the old emails as none of them have any importance to me? Thanks..BW

Hello! When I select hibernate from the shut down menu, the screen turns dark and then a message appears: "Locking computer...". After that the login-screen pops up. Hibernate used to work quite well in the beginning, and I have no idea what went wrong. Can anyone help me to solve this issue?
