Sometimes when I open a new program, or click on a link on the web, the new window is nowhere to be found and I try opening it again, then discover it opened up behind the previous program. This doesn't happen all the time, just once in awhile, but it's very annoying. What is it about Vista that causes this, and how can I prevent it?

not sure what's up, but EVERY program i open pauses (says Not Responding) my physical memory is always at 65-75% even when the only thing running is MSN messenger and it wasn't always like this. while running firefox or safari internet is quick, and once the programs are open, they run fine, just opening each program is causing a problem. \any ideas?

I've got Diskeeper installed now on my Vista Ultimate machine, and notice that Diskeeper is working in the background on defragmenting some newly-written files... you can see the name of the file it's working on. The system restore function is not working properly on my Vista home premium (which has RAID 1). In the system protection tab, the box for available disks just says "searching..".
