I'm getting the same error everytime start my pc. Couple of minutes later pc would lock-up, wireless mouse goes out. I try install the latest driver, reghost for scatch, updated bios, nothing seem to fix issue. But after a reboot, pc works fine. Vista Home Premium....AHH!!!!!! Time to switch back to XP.

Hi, I recently bought a 500GB external harddrive. I installed it, tried backing-up and this failed with error message 0x81000008 (Corrupt File System). So, I found this excellent forum and reformatted the drive from FAT32 to NTFS and lo and behold it worked! Yeay! I then started to archive all my MP3s, movies, photos, etc.

Where it tries to figure out how long it will take to copy before it starts copying. Is there any way to disable this? By the time the calculator is done the file would be already moved.
