my task bar at the bottom keeps doing weird stuff. like getting all out of wack. and then when i try and click the start menu nothing appears. the only way i can seem to fix it by doing ctrl+alt+del and closing the ( explorer ) and then clicking new task and opening explorer again. any ideas as to why this happens ?

Hey new user, If I click start and go to all programs, everything is gone. Adminitrative tools and start up folders are empty, also most of my programs like itunes, etc wont load. Vista sleeps for about one minute and then wakes there are no devices that can wake the computer. all have been disabled, and verified by the powercfg command. no devices are listed that are able to wake the computer. Hi, For the past few days I have noticed a performance hit of my computer, I checked the task manager (as I expected the CPU usage to be quite high) however it was only at 30%. I went into the performance tab and noticed the following: Physical Memory (MB) Total 2045 Cached 1396

When I start my computer it opens up running windows vista out of c:recovery and this drive is completely full. the os drive, D:, Has plenty of room, not to mention all the programs that I use. Automatically everything saves to the c: drive, but I need to run the os drive. Ho do I switch drives? Or at least clean out the recovery drive?
