Hi Has anyone any idea of how to recover the Icon for a HDD? My second HDD icon for drive D now displays a folder icon that appears for a file that does not have a prgram to run it? This is in all views of the Drive although it does not effect the operation. Vista has been running OK for sometime then this icon appeared. Not knowingly deleted anything and unable to renew the icon in properties

I had left my system idle for 20 mins or so (Windows Vista Ultimate) and it was on battery support (80 %). When I come back after 20 mins, I see a blue screen reporting a crash. I had to turn off the machine and restart it again to get it working. Although not very frequent, but it keeps on happening every 2 weeks or so. Sometimes it happens when I try to hibernate as well.

i was going to delete all the files on my trash bin on windows vista. and i don't really know what i clicked but now my trash bin is GONE i have no idea where it is. is there anyone out there that can tell me where i can get it back? and if im still deleting things where is it going to?
