TsGh dialogue box appears after windows initiates and loads by
Alejandro
Once windows vista home premium starts up and all programs have loaded, a
small window appears in the lower right hand corner with the header "TsGH".
It gives me the opcion of restoring, accepting or cancelling. What is this
and how do I get rid of it???
Thanks,
Alejandro

eternal thinking by
j lunis
Vista Home Premium 32
Recently my pc seems to be 'thinking' almost constantly. That is, the
hour-glass equivalent seems to always be active as if its trying to open
an app or complete a task. How do I find out what it is trying to do?

Kill process by
Ristar
Hi,
how do i kill a process that froze? ie. Firefox, IE, and all that, that are
not responding?
so far, i have tried "taskkill /im pid", and process explorer.
taskkill always returns a message telling me that a kill command has been
sent, but the process is still not killed.

"With Windows Vista Starter, you can have up to three programs open at the same time. For example, you can run WordPad, Paint, and Calculator at the same time. If you try to open a fourth program, you'll see a message telling you that you already have the maximum number of programs open......To run more than three programs at once, you'll need a different edition of Windows Vista. Can a Vista Startup Repair last 5 hours? by
John Harris[_3_]
I began a Startup Repair more than five hours ago. Surely this can't be
right. If I shut down and try to Restore to an Earlier Point, could this
make things worse?

Vista SP1 problem by
John Harris[_3_]
I installed SP1 onto a laptop and after about three quarters of an hour into
the process, the laptop switched itself off. I restarted and got a choice
between Repair or Start Windows normally. I made the mistake of picking the
second option. A huge series of files began to be opened, with the names of
each flashing on the screen. Then it seemed to get stuck on a file in the
registry. Or it...

Low performance - High spec by
whitik
Hi there, I'm looking for ideas why my computer is not fully utilizing
the resources. I have a Core i7 920 with 12GB Corsair RAM.
For example of the low resource utilization, I am currently unzipping
10 Virtual machine RARs (so several GB apiece) yet the CPU utilization
is only 15% and only 2GB RAM. It's not struggling or anything, I can do
plenty of other tasks without any problems but it...

100% CPU Usage Caused By Adobe Flash Plugin by
xwhizx
So i've been dealing with 100% CPU usage for the last 3 weeks. I've
narrowed down the cause to the Flash plugin for ANY browser, regardless
of IE or Firefox.
*Here's the deal:*
Anytime Flash is loaded in the browser, the CPU shoot straight up to
100% until you close the browser. I've google'd solutions for this. The
only one I've seen is the all FULL CONTROL for the Everyone user on two
of the...

Can't open or save files by
rfinnct
I'm not sure exactly at what point this started (if it was after installing
software or if it just happened on its own for some reason), but other than
using Windows Explorer, I cannot open or save a file.
If I am in Word or Photoshop or any other program, as soon as I attempt to
open or save something, the window comes up which should let me choose the
folder I want to open something from or...
