When I went to "Installed Updates" ( not update history ), I couldn't find optional updates that I had installed, i.e. MS Silverlight 1.0 (KB946609). All I saw were those downloaded automatically. I have Vista Home Premium set up fo the owner (me) as Administrator, and another user as a "reader". Both setups work well except for the "reader" user not conecting to a "peer to peer" internet program. My Administrator connects and uses the program fine. I have tested with the Wndows Firewall on or off; no difference. Any thoughts? Thanks

i left my laptop turned on for a few hours. when i went back to restart a green shaky screen appeared. after a couple of restarts the screen displayed looked back to normal but now over the background display it appears like there is interferance or static can anybody help?

HI, is there anyway to disable certain notifications on vista, What it is, i have a map of another network drive under my pc but i dont always have the other pc turned on causing a constant notification every time i turn my pc on saying not all network drives can be connected or words to that effect.
