internet explorer crashing by verizon
I have Vista 64 and IE8 and I get frequent crashes in sites like Amazon or forum sites. Something freezes when that part starts to load. I have to restart ie after. Is there a way to tell what is freezing it? Thanks

Disabling user account by Abi
How do I disable user accounts? When I start Windows Vista (Business edition) at some point a screen appears where I can either click on a picture/user account or log on via fingerprint. How do I disable that function all together. The account is currently set up as Administrator.

Searchindexer.exe hogs CPU by Wolffoley
We run Vista home premium on a Dell Dimension E521. Last spring our system slowed way down--we didn't know why. We backed everything up and reloaded the system. It worked well for about 2 months. Now the CPU is running consistently at 100%, and we finally discovered that it is Searchindexer.exe. We "end process" three times, and it will turn off each time, but restarts after the first two times....

Vista 64 bit ultimate unable to recognize 6gb ram? by strife03[_2_]
I apologize if this is posted somewhere else, I looked around for a bit but couldn't find the answer to my question. I figured it'd be best to just post it before my break is over. So anyway... I recently spent a metric but ton (technical term there =P) on a new computer. Bought an I7 processor, 6gb ddr3 ram, and 2 xfire vid cards. I spent the better part of last night installing all the parts...

Vista back up for downgrade to XP by abowlofrice
I recently bought a laptop that did not come with any restore disc. I plan to create a back up of my current vista so in case XP somehow fails, I can return to vista. My question is, how do I create a back up that will work when I am on XP? I know the Vista "system restore" does not work on XP. I read somewhere else that I can copy paste my windows folder from C: drive directly onto an external...

In particular, I ty to share the Siber System AiRobo form from my Administrator (me) log in side where roboform exists in Program files folder over to my non administrator user account. When I right click on the roboform, a box open and one of the options listed is "share", bu when I click on share, another box opens showing properties and sharing...

Keyboard Problems by bookreader
I just recently purchased a new laptop and it seems that my keyboard is having problems (which is becoming a little annoying when trying to write 2000+ page essays). When I am typing sometimes shortcuts will be in use (as though I have hit CTRL or SHIFT). I can be writing the letter T and a new tab in firefox will be created. Is there anyway to fix this? --
