Ok... so I cant change my background. It just started today. I am able to go into all of my pictures but when I try to select one of them... it doesnt change my background. I have tried using the original pictures that came installed and the only thing I can do is change the color of the background or put up a gateway background. I am running Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 on a 64 bit machine. When I run chkdsk it asks me to scan on reset whoch I choose to do, but it never runs it. I can't get chkdsk to ever run. I then tried to run SFC /scannow and it had mad a log, but when I goto view it in notpad it tell me access is denied. I know there are problems on the disk, any suggestions? Scott:eek:

Hello! Unhiding "Folders" in the "Navigation pane" in the "Windows Explorer" makes explorer.exe use 99% of CPU (Intel E6750) for hours. Why does Unhiding make explorer.exe use 99% of CPU? Windows Vista x64 SP2. Ram 6gb. Regards

Hi. I have had this problem for a while now and am not sure how to fix it. I always browse the internet and when I close one window or tab, everything closes and internet restarts. I want to download itunes for vista but when i hit download, all windows close. Any one have any suggestions, please?!

I am not sure why, but when I use Control Panel in Classic View with Medium Icons, the test labels for the icons uisually located underneath has dissappeared. What do I need to do to get the text associated with each icon to display again? The Icon name and category is viewable in all other views other than Mediaum, Large, and extra large icon view.

I am using firefox and up until yesterday my backup and restore always worked perfectly. I am logged in as an administrator. However, if I try to run Erunt by left clicking the program, I get an error message. So, I right click and choose 'Run as an Administrator' and it works fine. Why should I have to do this?
