Is this a usefull option. It can be found in task manager. It appears to allow to let yoiu assign certain tasks to one the the processors in the dual core processor. I have an athlon live 64 c2 4200+ am2 socket. How should I use it to the most benefit if it is worth using?

I click on a program from the desktop - the little blue circle runs for a couple seconds and nothing opens. Try to right click and open - no response. Internet won't open. Try to shut down or restart - nothing. Have to manually shut down holding down the power button. What is going on??

I have a brand new clean install of Vista 32. It does not detect the PC idle state. That is, I can leave the mouse and keyboard untouched for minutes or hours, and the screensaver never comes on, monitor never turns off, PC never sleeps, etc. I have all these things set up to happen after various minutes of delay in Power Options, but they don't. I can't seem to find a place to change the amount of disc space System Restore uses. In Control Panel's System icon I only get an option to create a restore point when I click System Restore. Am I missing something?? James
