I have Fax and Scan ( Vista Ultimate ) working, but I find I have to start it manually so the fax will monitor for incoming calls. Isn't there a flag setting to allow it to activate on boot up and be in a waiting mode ?

My OEM version of Vista doesn't have the driver for my HP printer. HP says the driver should be in Vista, and won't give me the driver. Microsoft says they don't support OEM Vista, so I can't get the driver from them. How ridiculous is that? Can anyone recommend a solution for me? Thanks, Rob

I've set up the Canon MF4100 printer and can print from the USB. I have the Linksys WPSM54G print server installed and working on my XP laptop but can't get it installed on my Vista 32 bit. After an update installed on 4/17, I get an error when I try printing with my Canon Inkjet 750. Initially, I get a message that the Printer is not found (I've already checked to make sure the printer is on, USB connections are made, etc). The first thing I do is to make change Printer properties so that it is Online. The printer status changes to Ready.

I have vista home 32 bit and when loading the vista drivers from the Canon website it gives me the error message access denied when the program tries to register the product. I have Vista Ultimate & am trying to repair Windows Fax & Scan. When I launch it it no longer loads & no error messages are given. The componts of the program that I've found so far a WFS.exe MSFAX folder with various subfolders MSSCAN folder with various subfolders Are there other files that are necessary for this program to work? Is it possible that the registry is corrupt?
