Uninstalling Programs by Christine
Hello! I went to uninstall a program and it is not in the list of program files to be uninstalled under Control Panel/Programs/Uninstall a Program. In fact, several of the programs are not listed. I believe they are all the programs I installed myself i.e. games and camera software. So, where are these programs so I can uninstall them? Thanks in advance!

Vista requires permission for application to start after update by Doug Sundquist
FireFox downloaded and installed an update and now every time I start it, Vista User Control requests permission before it will run. I checked permissions of the shortcut icon and that has "Run as Administrator" unchecked as it should. Prior to this update everything ran fine. I also notice two instances of FireFox (previous and current) in Control Panel Programs list. Thanks in advance...

Administrative password by SamA
I purchased a computer with Dell with Vista Home addition and then upgraded it to Ultimate. The problem I having is that I've created an account for myself with administrator rights and I have unchecked the UAC box to prevent the popups from happening. Yet, the popups still occur and programs such as OneCare do not recognize me as an administrator. Any ideas? Thanks SamA

Access denied to folder by rfreedm

My toddler came in, distracted me, and I denied Full Control to Authenticated Users on the folder (I was not paying attention like I should have been). Now, even logged on as an administrator, I cannont access or delete the folder. I am the only Admin on the the system, and shows full contol. I think that the Authenticated Users...

Controlling Internet Download Volume on Home Network by Garij
I am looking fo a solution for my home network. I have a wireless network with 3 PC's and an XBOX360 attached. My ISP provides me with a fast 10Mbit cable network that has a 10Gb monthly data volume limit, after which I am throttled back to 64Kb/sec for the rest of the month. 2 of the networked PC's belong to my teenage children and monthly data usage has gone through the roof since...

How to view multiple calendars by Bloosolid
Is there a way I can view multiple dates in different calendars similarly to viewing two different clocks on Windows Vista? I'd like to set my date/time bit on the taskbar so that I can see what the date is in both the Hijri Um Alqura calendar and the Arabic Gregorian Calendar. Is there a way to make this possible? And how?
