Annoying pop-up windows by
Marisa
I have Windows Vista Ultimate.
Every time I turn on my computer, little pop up windows tell me to set a
password as a way to activate Parental Controls.
HOWEVER, I do not need Parental Controls - I am the only user of the
computer and I have not activated the Guest Account or created any other user
account.
And I do not want to give a password to myself…
How can I stop these annoying pop...

Task Scheduler Returned Error 0x2 While Running Batch File by
lqd1967
I need to run a batch script to download files via ftp.
The script works fine on XP pro, deleting specified files from a local
directory and replacing them with downloaded files from an ftp server.
When I run the script through Task Scheduler in vista, it only removes
the specified files without downloading the replacements.
Just to add that I tested the bacth file manually and it worked fine.

Hidden user account information by
Firefly
Help!
I have three user accounts (one is the Admin one). A second is for my
husband. But I seem to have acquired a Guest user account (may have done this
accidentally?). Anyhow, my antivirus keeps telling me that this Guest account
has a weak password. I want to change the password so followed the steps to
get into this user account but find that the only option open to me is to
turn it on...

Logging off other users who have left the computer by
idavp
How do I log off other users of my computer in Vista. I used to be able to do
this in XP by opening task manager, selecting the account and logging them
off. I have tried doing this in Vista but receive a message that says I am
not allowed, even though they are set as standard users and I am the
administrator.
