Hi! I have a month old Toshiba Satellite L300D laptop, and I am experiencing problems with Windows Explorer. The program tends to stop responding when accesing local network resources. I get the options to wait for a response / close and start the program again / close the program. I have tried waiting for it to respond, without success so far. So; I have to close it, and let it start again.

There are occasions when I am in the middle of a task such as an excel worksheet that a mouse movement will cause the screen to either dissapear or enlarge to maximum font sixe and there-fore be off the screen. There are files *without* an extension that get weird icons from quicktime (*.mov) files or sometimes from *.srt files (I adjusted the *.srt files to get a special icon). How can I change this.
