i try to delete files in my sharing folder but cant . i went to help section and it said ti right click on file , i did and a drop down appeared but there was no delete button on it so i was not able to delete the file , it is not a read only file, can anyone help me

I have more than 3K files (jpgs mostly) linked to many individual scrapbooks in a genealogy software program. I would like to create a list of what files are linked to what individuals (for disaster recovery purposes). Does Vista have a search feature which does that? Thanks in advance for your help.

After Vista Home Premium SP1 I cannot open Word files through desktop Documents. If I open Word I can bring up files without any difficulty from there. Also can't open attachments on Windows Mail. Was ok before sp1 but this may be coincidence. Any advice? Rod.

I new to Vista I develop on an XP machine. I compile a program A.exe which comes in two flavours A.exe and B.exe. B.exe is compiled as A'.exe but with a compiler switch (conditional compile). Both programs are installed with Wise Installer but during the installation A'.exe is installed as B.exe. Everything worked fine under XP
