Is it possible to run the DOSBox emulator on Vista? Are there any issues specific to Vista?

I also had that problem, go to windows help on your computer and search on compatibility program. Start the program compatibility wizard and follow the steps to installing the game. You may also have to run it under administrative mode for it to work. Hope this is what you needed.

When I try to download game sites, Vista stops me from doing so. It asked if I am connected to the internet which I am but I am not recognized for it. Sites like Big Fish or Real Arcade just do not load. They get stuck tracking saying downloading in progress and I let it run but it never completes the connection. I recently installed Vista Home Premium. Suddenly all the provided games are totally missing. If I bring up the games folder from the start menu I get a search folder. I think this happened when I installed the update yesterday (3/28/07) but not sure. I tried doing a system restore before the install, to no avail. Anyone have a clue what happened?

I use the Windows Media Center to watch TV on my computer and it works great, but since I have upgraded to Vista I have been having lag issues when I plug in my Xbox360 and try to play a game on my pc. For example, when I press a button there is a 2 second delay until that action takes place. Is there anyway to get rid of this besides pluggin my Xbox into a regular TV?

Any one having this problem, i found only one fix, the problem seems to be with upgrading instead of clean installing vista. I did a clean install and no problem, games installed and LIVE ran with no problem. sucks but thats seems to be the only fix, clean install really is cleaner though, i recommend it, just clone your hard drive before you proceed.

I have vista with chess titans. I can start and play games with no issues. If I ever try to close during a game and save, everything seems to act normal, but the games don't save.
