has any1 had problems playing gta on vista RTM? for me it just flashes up all differnet numbers etc almost like vista cant read the exe properly

I can't open the game console with "~" for any game. When I was using XP that was not a problem. But what happens now? And I don't wanna hear stuff like "we don't support cheats" bla bla bla... windows vista interferes with the programming of a game. I'm really annoyed about this. I tried any other key but nothing. Is vista missing something?

In the past on my Dell with XP, I used the XBCD Drivers so I could re-map my 360 controller to fit my needs. However I have recently built a new PC and got 64-bit Vista Home Premium, and have been unable to get the XBCD drivers working. The only thing I need to do is change the R/L triggers from their default Z-axis to two seperate buttons. Any ideas on how I might do this?

I am trying to install The Bard's Tale game. The game will not install on the hard drive. Would like to know what I have to do to get it installed.

I'm trying to install a game that requires directx 7 but when I click on the application to install it, I get an error message that says 'Directx7 init. failed.' Can anybody help me? I already tried installing the dxwebsetup.exe but that didn't work.
