I'm trying to view some easter eggs in a game I own, which requires me to modify the .ini file for it. I did this in XP with no trouble, but Vista keeps telling me it can't create the filepath to save the modified file or that I don't have permission to modify this file. I've already adjusted the properties and "allowed" everything. Any other ideas?

I just loaded my old copy of Civ IV on my newer Vista machine, and it isn't working. Vista tells me there are compatibility porblems and I should contact Firaxis. I see in this forum that Civ IV is on the list of games that work in Vista. I tried loading patch 1.61, but that doesn't seem to work either. Does anyone know what I need to do? Thanks,
