We have just bought a 3rd computer with the Windows Vista Operating Platform. We want to play against each other. The two Windows home editions can see each other but the the windos Vista cannot see the games on the Windows home computers not can it's games be seen by them. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong. We are playing via the internet. -- me

Hi! I just bought Vista 32bit version last week and I'm having some troubles playing my old games which uses earlier versions of directx than 10. They worked perfectly fine on XP. The compability modes doesn't help at all. Is it possible to get them to run or do I have to throw them in the trash? Also I heard something about directx 9L, what's that and can I use it?

vista video driver gives me a mistake igfx driver stopped responding and succsessfully recovered when i play games, it never happend with xp. P.S. Im not the only one with igfx problem many people that i know have the same mistake. please help

When I reach the mission after the "silent Cartogrpher, it frezzes, and the message appears: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered". Frezzes again 2 or three times, then another messages appears: "Attempt to reset the dispaly driver failed, windows will shut down so not cause any damage". When I first got my machine the chess game worked fine. Now when I try to play it just sits there and eventually locks up the machine. I have to do a hard reboot. I have two NVidia GeForce 7600 GS video cards. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the game and it still tries to load the saved game I was playing the last time it worked.
