Can't get my utstarcom pc6700 to sync with vista computer

Default Can't get my utstarcom pc6700 to sync with vista computer

can't get my utstarcom ppc6700 smartphone to sync my calendar, contacts,
tasks etc to my new computer that has windows vista. I have tried numerous
downloads including acivesync 4.5 (won't download with vista) and windows
mobile device center 6.1. under change content sync settings i can't select
the obove mentioned items, only mobile favorites which i don't use.

help me with my computer headache - I can't upgrade my phone until I get my
information onto my computer

Default Can't get my utstarcom pc6700 to sync with vista computer

I have the verizon version of this phone. I've had troubles with it even on
Win2K or WinXP, a couple of times to where I had to RELOAD the phone to
factory defaults to get a partnership to work again. Does the system
beep/identify new hardware when you connect via USB?

Does it still work if you plugged it into a WinXP system? Heck, a bad cable
can make the phone not connect either.

FYI, there are several updates to Windows Mobile for this phone, check
ustarcom's website. Installing these updates will likely change some of your
features as well as probably wiping the memory too.
