Default instaling new devices problems: hdd-sd camcorder and sdhc 4 gb car

I have a new hdd - sd camcorder (panasonic sdr-h200). I have problems with
instalation on my laptop ( using vista premium) - no driver was found. I can
see the camcorder under computer management, but not in explorer. I tried the
hot-fix, but no results.
Also, no driver was found when I tried to use a SD 4 gb card (a SanDisk
SDHC) in the build-in card-reader.

Thanks!

The older card readers won't cope with the High Capacity cards... the answer
is a new card reader... or if there is firmware available from its
manufacturer, try to see it that works.

Can you assign the drive (the camcorder's drive) a letter in Disk
Management? (right click My Computer, select Manage, then click Disk
Management). No drive letter means it will never show up in Explorer.

Hi, Cari!

The card reader is build-in, and your sugestion is to buy a new one. This is
the final solution. First, I'll try to find if everything is ok with my
laptop (maybe some setings...).

About your sugestion regarding the camcorder, it was imposible to assign a
letter to the new drive.

Thanks!
