red cross on network on system tray
Hi
Red Cross means that the computer is Not connected to the network. It can be a Network issue. I.e. inadequate setting on other devices on the Network (You did not provide any information about the Network so there is Nothing else that I can say about it). It can be a trouble with the Vista's Core Network components. Right Click on the Red Cross and choose the Network and Sharing Center. Look at the upper left side and click on Diagnose and Repair.
