MS Mouse/USB
On my dell laptop the mouse now is frozen upon start-up. Re-installing IP32Eng6.20.182.0.exe did nothing. ? tia, stu Vista Ultimate (32) Intellimouse 5000 optical.... How does it appear in Control Panel, System, Device Manager? Does the cursor move with the trackpad? Can you try another rodent? Another USB port? Do you have green PS2 dongle that comes with MS mouse (only helps if Dell has PS2 port) I think the Intellipoint software only gives advanced control - the basic drivers are in the OS. On a Dell XP desktop I have MS USB keyboard and mouse and need to use power button to wake up system - wiggling the mouse or touching the keyboard won't do it |
