Admin approval mode
disabling "run all administrators in admin approval mode" is same as turning
off UAC. Can someone here who has been following the history of UAC development point me why the policy setting is not named much better for the end user like "Turn off UAC" ? -- Vipin Aravind http://blogs.explorewindows.com |

Admin approval mode
I don't know. Maybe they thought "admin approval mode" would be clearer to
system administrators as to what the policy affects? Or maybe that's what they called UAC a long time ago. -- - JB Windows Vista Support Faq http://www.jimmah.com/vista/ |
