Default no sound

i have done a clean install to windows vista but i have not got any sound.
I tried 2 speaker sets detached ones and ones built in to the screen

You may need sound drivers for Vista. What is your sound
source; plug-in card or motherboard?

not shure what make of motherboard though

What make and model of computer.
In device manager is there any entry under sound, video and game controllers?

Advent T9102 intel P4 3.4ghz ati radeon 256mb dedicated graphics card
interl motherboard TV out and in.
yes there is the sound input and hd audio device

I also found out I have a intel motherboard

I have realtec high def audio

and apparently a ms 7046
